I'm assuming it has something to do with the proxy, but is there any way to fix it?
Initially I was manually logging into the proxy every time I used the internet, and because of this, the only apps that worked correctly was Safari, and the occasional other app. When I finally got around to getting all of the correct proxy details and set up all the configuration, almost everything started working.
The AppStore would work, I could update, search, download, buy, etc.
Most other apps started working as well.
However YouTube still continues to give the error "YouTube not Available". If I try it from home, it works perfectly (as do the other apps that don't work at Uni).
And no, the Uni isn't blocking it; nothing is blocked (nothing at all is block/filtered/etc).
So is there a way to force the YouTube app to use the proxy settings correctly? Or any other apps for that matter?
Is this actually the cause? Or something else?
