Well, it did not fix the captive portal problem that has emerged since the 3.0 update. I was able to web browse on my company's captive portal until these updates introduced the overlay that tests connection to www.apple.com. My company's portal page appears, but whatever Apple is doing after I enter ID and password does not resolve to my company's access point. The iPhone will never be ready for the corporate world.
